You should say:
When it was
- What gift you would like to buy
- Who you would like to give it to
- Why you would like to buy a gift for him/her
- And explain why you choose that gift
| When it was | Tet is soon to come, a special holiday when people in our country gather and celebrate together, a perfect time to show how much I appreciate my beloved friend, Jack, and nothing would be more suitable to accomplish that purpose than a Succulent. |
| Who you would like to give it to | I have known Jack since I begin to study at high school, an energetic man who always tries his best to overcome any obstacles and knows how to sympathize, to help others when they need. |
| Why you would like to buy a gift for him/her | Whenever I had trouble dealing with my social life as well as my problem to describe and to realize my ideas, he was there to give me useful advices, even if he had no advice, he would still be there to listen and share with me. Therefore, in order to seize gratitude of his kindness, I would love to present him a wonderful gift. |
| What gift you would like to buy and explain why you choose that gift | Succulent symbolizes many characters of a person, a chalk lettuce, one of its kind, stands for strong will, kindness, and eternal friendship. Giving Jack this present means my hope for an everlasting friendship. In addition, I want to describe how much I appreciate jack’s kindness and respect his perseverance. |
Part 3
- When do people normally send gifts to others?
In my country, during festive days, people usually giving away presents to their beloved as an act of gratitude and esteem. In those days, gifts would be found much more easier and more variable. Additionally, the festive atmosphere will make receivers become excited when they earn their presents
- Is it hard to choose a gift?
From my perspective, I find it very difficult to choose a gift.
First of all, we all expect good reaction from our recipients, but we rarely know where to begin. Otherwise the more we think about the gift, the more complex it becomes since we would have more options to choose. Secondly, there is a discrepancy in the way a gift giver and the recipient think about the gift. Maybe we hope the most practical presents, those have immediate uses, but our recipient prefer experiential one
- Will people feel happy when receiving an expensive gift?
As I have mentioned, with those who loves practical gifts, they will have a whale of a time, and with those who loves experiential presents, although they will still be happy, but perhaps they just pretend to be so in order not to let us down.
