| What + where is that place? | Upon hearing this question, the place that immediately springs to mind is PN bookstore, which offers super unique and of course expensive books at the same time. |
| Why did you go there? | To the best of my recollection, way back in 2022, when I first came to that store. This store is located slap-bang right in the middle of District One. Actually, I decided to go there just in order to purchase my favorite series of books – Twightlight. |
| What the place is like? | So as far as I can remember, when I arrived, the design of that bookstore just blew my mind. I mean it was well-furnished with enough lights, bringing me a real sense of comfort. Also, the decorations are designed based on the idea of a forest which was really mysterious and intriguing. So that’s why even with initial scrutiny of the shop, I guess the books here were a little bit more expensive than in other bookstores. |
| Why things are expensive there? | To be more specific, everything was in place until I took a closer look at the price. I was extremely shocked because it was exorbitant for a freshman like me. After that, as I walked around the store, I realized that all the books were priced higher than usual. With that price, I had to literally tighten my belt for a while to afford it. I guess it’s expensive because they have to cover costs like rent and design expenses. So without a second thought, after taking a look at the price I decided to come back home and place an online order to have a better deal. |
| How do you feel about the place? | Up to now, it has been more than 2 years but I still vividly remember that time. Although the price of the book is expensive but in the years to come, I think I will pay it a visit since I am so impressed by its design. |

1/ Why do some people still use cash?
Well, speaking from my personal observation, this can be attributed to a host of reasons. For one, not all places are accessible to the Internet. For example, in some remote areas, the Internet is not widely used. Therefore, online transactions are something that is really unfamiliar to the locals. Another reason is simply because many people find it easier for them to manage their money when using cash. I mean, they can see how much money they have and how much they spend every time they open their wallet, which isn’t always the case with digital transactions.
2/ What do you think of the view that time is as important as money?
From my perspective, it’s true that both money and time are of equal importance. It is obvious that achieving financial stability can secure a life rich in both material and spiritual aspects. I mean with a high income, people can better afford their life, like paying for accommodation, food and drink, and traveling, which in turn can help improve their quality of life. Meanwhile, time is also of paramount importance, just as important as money. Spending quality time with family or loved people can bring immense rewards in terms of happiness, fulfillment, and well-being.
3/ Is it more important to choose a job with a high salary or with more time off?
I believe that it still depends on the groups of ages that we are talking about. For the younger generation, they would prefer to prioritize well-paid jobs due to the pressure of earning a living. Especially, those who have just graduated will have a tendency to seek occupations with a competitive salary. However, jobs with more time off would be more intriguing for adults. When reaching a certain age, most people would lean forward to spending quality time with their families. Therefore it is understandable why mature people may prefer to find a job that provides sufficient time for their personal life.
